Medical Director Dr John Yovich is internationally acknowledged for his pioneering work in in-vitro fertilisation, which resulted in Western Australia’s first IVF baby being delivered in 1982. Dr Yovich established the PIVET Medical Centre in 1982 and has remained at the forefront of developing advanced IVF techniques through his ongoing commitment to research and development.
The PIVET research team has published a number of books (hyperlink) about human reproduction and has also developed a number of modern techniques in treating fertility.
Through ongoing investment in research and development PIVET is focused on major improvements to assist in increasing fertilisation rates and pregnancy outcomes.
