PIVET (Programmed InVitro Fertilisation & Embryo Transfer) was established in 1982 by Dr John Yovich.
In 1985 PIVET Medical Centre was designed as one of the first purpose built IVF clinics in Australia.
Dr John Yovich is acknowledged internationally for his pioneering work in IVF resulting in Western Australia's first IVF baby delivered in 1982.
Dr Yovich and his specialist team have undergone extensive training in the use of key hole surgery within major infertility clinics both in the United States and the United Kingdom and Dr Yovich has been at the forefront of developing advanced laparoscopic techniques.
